I am shocked Gunbroker did anything. All the fault lies with the USPS and the seller. What was the Sellers username so the rest of us know? I hope you left them negative feedback. That is an unfortunate situation, I am glad you got what you did. A year is a long time to battle.

I have a Marlin 1897 22lr deluxe, pistol grip, checkering, 24 inch octagon barrel. Has been recase hardened and had the wood refinished. Rifle shoots and feeds well. I can send pictures to anyone interested. Thank you. $1450 shipped

If thats a 270 with a 22 inch barrel it is a 77RCW I think was the model. I have one but the box is stored away. Circassian Walnut, beautiful guns.
