    77/44 - Finally got a range day

I usually rap on the side of the turrets with a cartridge box or something to make the adjustments settle after sighting in. The Volquartzen trigger and bolt shims really tighten up the accuracy on the 77/44, 77/357, 77/22, or 77/22 Hornet models due to the 2 piece bolt and mid bolt locking...

    HENRY REVOLVERS

Should have at least put adjustable sights on it at that price point.

PC40 Carbine and everything .40 S&W gone forever

Kel Tec has a $100 rebate on the Kel Tec Sub2000 carbines till June 1st as well. I have a Sub2000 9mm carbine and just ordered one in .40 caliber. I drilled out the rear peep on the 9mm and it is a big difference in usability of the factory sights but I plan to put a red dot on it also. PS A...

    Remlin vs. Ruger Trapper 45-70?

I just bought a Marlin Trapper for $1200+tax at Academy in Hammond, LA. It takes the same Piccatinny rail as the SBL model that you have to order off the ShopRuger.com website. Apparently the scope bases for the older Marlins/Remlins don't fit the newer Ruger/Marlins.

Am I the only one who likes Buck Knives?

I looked up the walmart prices on the web today. A lot of times you can get a better price looking it up on the webite and then purchase it there and go pick up in the store. A deer block I put out for hunting is $25 in the store or $20 on the website.

Am I the only one who likes Buck Knives?

Walmart has some good deals on the 119, 110, and 110 Lite knives. The 110 and 110 lite knives were $35.17 and $19.99 respectively. The 119 is $48.60. All USA made !!

    thinkin about a 77/44

Put in the bolt shims and Volquartsen sear and it makes it shoot a lot better plus decreasing the trigger pull. They also work good on the 77/22, 77/22mag, 77/22 Hornet, and 77/357 rifles. I had a 77/357 before but got rid of it because of mediocre accuracy but that was before i found out about...

    Ruger .22 Magnum Rimfire?

I have the 8336, same thing in 17HMR. Shoots real well but have only shot out to 50yds so far.

I’ve gone electric, but I have my reasons…

I do landscaping and lawn maintenance for a living. When I first started, Echo brand products made in Japan were the best and I could run them at least 5 years before wearing them out and that's putting at least 2 years worth of use on them every week. Then they cheapened them up (China made)...

Ruger M77RL Ultralight Tang 270 vs. Ruger Hawkeye SS 264 Win Mag

Depends on where you hunt. Deer have been so hard hunted around here for decades if not a couple of centuries that you don't dare leave the white end of a cut branch anywhere around where your stand is because deer will not come around unless it's at night and usually just avoid the area...

Ruger M77RL Ultralight Tang 270 vs. Ruger Hawkeye SS 264 Win Mag

My rifle is in about 92% condition. Both of his are excellent condition. I believe the Hawkeye 264, which is a limited edition rifle, is worth as much or more than the 250 Savage. I can find 4 Ruger 250's for sale on gunbroker at any given time and not a one in a 264 Win Mag. I like the matte...

Ruger M77RL Ultralight Tang 270 vs. Ruger Hawkeye SS 264 Win Mag

My buddy wants my M77 250 Savage for his grandson to hunt with and has offered the 2 above rifles in trade. Which do you think is worth more in the long run, 270 Ultralight Blued Tang Safety or Hawkeye SS 264 WIn Mag? I reload so 264 is not a problem to make ammo for.
