    Ancient Technology

This new technology has it's advantages. With Apple Music, I have 7423 songs downloaded on my phone, all music I've liked for over 45 years or more and still adding to it. With Bluetooth I can listen just about anywhere. And I tossed more than my share of tapes that had been eaten out the window...

How do you account for the resurgence in popularity of revolvers and lever action rifles?

I got stated with a lever action .22 and a Dan Wesson .357 and both of my boys started with them. I’ve introduced them to a lot of people. I own semi automatic’s and they have purpose but the hands on loading and removing brass from a revolver is just more satisfying. I can inspect each empty...

    Bladeless Victorinox Swiss Army Knife.

I always carry one of those little Swiss Army knives for the scissors and the toothpick, but TSA wants to take them away, so I bought the blade less one to fly with and get the airport food out of my teeth and security didn’t even blink. So they have have a lame purpose I guess, and I didn’t...

    My Woods-Carry Choice

I got to shoot a buddies M&P Performance Center 10mm with a compensator and was surprised at how well it shot. It felt more like a 45 acp and think it would be a great woods gun. It was so easy to get back on target and was surprisingly light for something holding 10 rounds.

    The Dying 44?

I bugs me how gun writers seem like they want to kill off certain calibers when they should be promoting every caliber. It just seems negative and anti gun.

What firearm have you owned the longest?

My Dad bought me a Browning BL-22 and a Western Field bolt action 20 gauge for my 11th birthday in '73, still have them both. First handgun is a Dan Wesson 514 .357 and I still have it. Great post, lots of good memories!

    Colorado Wolves

Wolves in northern Colorado are ranging into areas where humans camp and hike, and that does seem dangerous. When using these areas, I think I would leave my small children at home. It just seems too risky and not very well thought out by state government.

    Life long question?

Nice thing about being a little older, I got to see them do this song live in 1978! They were the warm up band for Aerosmith and by the time they got done we almost forgot we came to see Aerosmith! Damn they were good
