I just look at the pictures..... very seldom read an article.... Thinking maybe Wayne will go into politics (he appears 'qualified').

I wanted to name my daughter Sarah Connor _____________, but when The Lovely Mrs. Snake and SnakeMom wanted to know why, I realized it would just take too long to explain. ;)
Great name for a daughter.

When you think about what she went through, and for how long, she has to be one of the toughest movie characters ever. Total BA.

Did you watch The Sarah Connor Chronicles on FOX some years back? It was excellent, and it's now streaming on Hulu. I watched it last year and highly recommend it.

BTW, my Daughter was born in 1987, long before all the sequels and the TV series.

Josey Wales is/was one of my all-time favorite movies, but some of that may be due to the context of when it came out. I had just turned 16 and gotten my driver's license on my birthday when it hit the local theatre (which is now an Italian buffet) in Colorado. I got permission to take my dad's 1963 Ford Falcon with the 170 CID straight six and three-on-the-tree and go see the movie with my friend. I wish I could say my date was with the hot cheerleader or future prom queen, but no, just my buddy I'd known since first grade. Had I been with a girl, I'm sure the events after the movie would have unfolded differently. My buddy and I came out of the movie living in the moment of the 1860's, projecting our inner Wales. We went to a local gas station/convenience store called the Top Ten and we bought a solid brick of plug chewing tobacco and then went over to the park where we could carve off chunks with my Uncle Henry pocketknife and chew and spit without concern. As you'd expect, we both got horribly sick. But that episode did serve to cure both of us of any further desire to chew tobacco.

I think you are getting your movies mixed up. Clint never changed cylinders in Josie Wales, he did it on Pale Rider, and it was a Remington, not a Colt.
Yeah, I loved seeing that. He looked so cool doing that, so calm & casual......After seeing that scene a couple of times, I started wondering why the bad guy didn't shoot him while he was busy reloading ?? I mean after all, he was a bad guy. Only in the movies I guess .....

The other thing was he was walking while doing that and never even looked at the gun in the process......how cool was that !!

I first saw OJW at a drive-in the summer it came out, with my girlfriend of the day--we had recently graduated university. I'm pretty sure it was a double-feature with a little-remembered movie called Scorchy, whose main claim to fame was that the once-lovely Connie Stevens got nekkid and jumped in a pool in it.

Dern... I totally missed that there were choices.... Like the gun stuff totally hate the political... and yes I know it is important... I just find it slightly hypocritical that the NRA will support folks who are actually anti-gun in the real world no matter what they say while up on a stump.

Oh, I've got a Walker revolver ... I need to try spinning it. ... I just tried... that is gonna take some practice... I think I do need a rubber one.
Actually, I've always thought what was more amazing was how fast he changed cylinders on the things....takes me about 3-5 minutes.
I believe the cylinder changes were on an 1958 Remy.

The Walker and Dragoons were Horse Pistols which meant they were to be carried across the saddle. I have a Walker and no way I would want to fast draw or carry it on my hip. There were 800 Walkers made but it seems the movies think a lot of people carried them. Josey, Gus and others.
