Sadly that applies to almost all collectibles.
Mom is still going strong at 88 and still drives her 1988 Cadillac Deville. Dad had heart problems starting at age 37 and passed at 56 years old. I'm 67 and feeling pretty good with no major issues. I can still hop on the Harley and go for a ride and drag my own deer out of the woods. I plan on enjoying life to the very end. No matter when that is.
At almost 72.......Just like the Jethro Tull album "Too Old To Rock n Roll, Too Young To Die"!

I am 79 and physically in pretty good shape. Still able to go hunting and to some shoots. I have had my share of joint replacements. I am starting to have some memory issues, hopefully that don't get too bad.

It took me a second to place the reference then one of the greatest lines penned to music sounded in my brain and I got it! Good reference!
Am 61, feel 90 and according to my wife, act 15. I finally understand what my mother used to preach to me about making sure each day is worth what you pay for it. I heard that since I was very young, but it gets more profound with each passing year.

81, lifelong resident of Idaho.
I see almost 86% of us are over 60. I'll be 79 next month. I've always used the mantra " Don't let the old man in." But he snuck in. This last year I've suddenly felt old. I have to carry the laundry basket upstairs lifting it on the 3rd step up and walk up to it holding on. Repeat. Balance is tricky. Going to see a vascular surgeon for Peripheral Arterial disease. Hope to avoid another surgery. Growing old ain't for sissies.
I was born with a full head of hair and except for chemo have kept it. It's a little receded but it's all there

My mind says, "You can do this." My body says, "Shut the hell up!. What cn I say? I'll be 86 come next August, if I make it that far. I've been saying the decade of the 2020s is trying to kill me. First a bad wreck in my truck January 2 2020 for openers. In 2021 a heart attack, in 2022 coln cancer. Since then three stent and my aortic heart valve was relaced the 14th of last month. Now if I can get my BP down to a more normal lever I just might keep on keeping on. My goal is to break 100 just to see what it's like.

My personal favorite is one from another lesser-known song, and goes:
They say Jesus will find you wherever you go,
But when He'll come looking for you, they don't know.
David Letterman once said that the greatest lyric in the history of mankind was:
They say love conquers all,
You can't start it like a car;
You can't stop it with a gun.
...and I'm not sure I could disagree with him.

The lyric that was inspired by the reading name Zevon was "Little old lady was mutilated late last night." Huge fan of alliteration I am! In the second before the name clicked I though it was a reference to "The hitchhikers guide to the universe."Not one of his more famous songs, or even one of my favorites, but I do think that particular line is great.
