I have been using Firefox for many years. Now, all of a sudden every time I click on an email link to view a reply to a forum post, it opens with Edge. Anyone know of a way to get Windows 10 to use Firefox again like it used to do? I mean a way that actually works.
Thanks Guys

I periodically have the same issue. I use YAHOO!!. Just go to the Task manager and stop it, then set your preference as default.

I have done all that. I went into settings for web browser and it says "Firefox". I even went into settings by extension and for "Https:" it's set to use Firefox. Everything in settings says it should use Firefox but it still open links in Edge. This Fuger forum window opened in Edge. I don't know what else to try. Is it possible to delete Edge or at least disable it?

Unfortunately, no. Windows has gotten really bad about resetting defaults any time there is an update, some of them are easy to find and fix, others, not so much...

BINGO !!! Yes it was. In Options in Outlook under hyper links, it was set to use Edge to open them. I changed it to use "default browser" (only other option) and that worked, thank you very much.
You're welcome. Glad it's fixed. What I don't get is how a setting like that on our phone or desktop magically changes. The answer is likely that happens for several reasons.
