How ironic.
He plays an former Army MP who commits multiple murders each episode.......yet bashes real life law enforcement, claiming "cops get away with murder all the time".
Good to know how he really feels. I was a fan of the show, even though Season 2 was lacking. No longer. I'll now never watch anything he's in.
Not very smart to alienate a large segment of his show's audience......or, former audience.

I've read every Jack Reacher book Lee Child wrote. Loved the books, never seen the TV show. Doesn't sound like I've missed much.
Me too & have re-read many over the years & continue to.
Season 1 was watchable, 2, not so much, so you're right.
It's a shame Lee's permitting this cop-hater to portray Reacher.....if he even has any say in it. For all I know he sold off all of his creative rights to Amazon.

In other news, he's reported to have said he hates Trump and his followers. It's also reported he's diagnosed as Bi polar & attempted suicide. Sounds like a candidate for the funny farm.

He's bi-polar & has been on various outlets duscussing that along with the various types of treatment methods he uses. He also claims that he was sexually molested by Hollywood big-wigs as he tried to establish his acting career.
I guess maybe his 'treatment' methods have distorted his ability to correctly interpet & form accurate opinions on those within our society?

We have never watched that series.

But you can rest assured that I'll not bother with it,, or anything else this person is in.

I liked the first season, but that was it. It got tiresome and repetitive. As to the books it was based on, I enjoyed the first few, then stopped. The books seemed to also be repetitive and shallow. I guess I have been spoiled by good books, the kind you stop every once in awhile and think "I wish I could write like this". There's enough other stuff on TV to not have to watch the weak shows.

Right now I'm rewatching "Band of Brothers" and the entire "Homeland" series. TV doesn't get better than those.
