Ever wonder what John Taffin looks like?

I'll give Mr Taffin his due and say I have bought his books and he does a nice job. His books are not too expensive used on eBay. Capstick was a great writer as was Skeeter Skeleton. Both could tell a story better than another guy who was there. Elmer proposed to my great aunt and they were neighbors when they were young. Adjoining family ranches. Based on many letter from Elmer and meeting him once I'll tell you he was no writer. His books are great due to overworked editors. Awesome experience and skills but he couldn't spell or write a complete sentence on his own. I think that might have been why he fought so much with O Conner who was a great technical writer and former teacher. All a great bunch of characters and I liked them all. I know one current writer who I won't name that mostly a total fraud. He writes stuff about guns his health is so bad he doesn't even shoot. He takes pictures of reloading and casting that are his friends and calls it his own. I know some.of you know who I mean. If you're curious PM me I don't want to mess with his livelihood.
