This got a thorough hand wash yesterday, scrub wheels, clean and protect leather seat and tour pac.
Meguiar's carnauba wax this morning.
This seemed much easier a few years ago!
The aftermarket center stand is a big help though.

I used to have a nice dresser with custom paint and chrome. Every time I went to ride it I decided that it needed cleaned and polished. By the time I was done washing and polishing it was dinner time and I didn't have time to ride!!! That's why I got this. The only thing I clean is the chain 😂🤣😂🤣

Bolts on to existing holes I think. Your side stand stays.

Nice looking Kawasaki! What model is it?
Do love me a sport tourer...
It's a Versys 1000 SE LT+..... 6-axis IMU, cornering lights, ABS (3-level plus off), traction control (also 3-level plus off), ride modes, adaptive electronic suspension, heated grips, cruise control, etc. I used to ride a Concours 14, but getting older, it was just too big and heavy so I switched a few years ago. I do miss that 155 hp of the Connie, though - that thing was a two-wheeled rocketship.

Had an ST100 with some beefed-up carbs and a few other tricks, aftermarket shocks & springs. Loved to ride sport tourers, and always wanted to try the KZ Connies for pure speed. These warm Spring days are the reason that bikes exist! Mountain riding gives you good reasons to have 2 sets of gloves and 3 jackets, all on the same day!

As noted above, the only thing I clean is the chain. My philosophy is "A good layer of bugs and dirt forms a protective shield over the paint."

I do, however, clean and treat the leather Corbin seat.

Looks like the pull over at Wolf Creek Pass looking West. We have been over it many times while staying in South Fork
