My go to off duty sidearm is in .357 Sig. It’s another cartridge that was touted initially but now it’s not so popular. It has great ballistics but it’s expensive since few agencies use it. I am concerned that 30 Super Carry will travel the same path.

FWIW, I never shot the XD series well. My S I L had two, 9mm and 40 S&W. I think they are well made but just not for me.

The eclipse is underway here in Texas. I have been noting the progress. A few days ago I found a bottle of wine “Spellbound, the Eclipse”, a California Petit Syrah. I have been having a taste as I check on the progress. An enjoyable wine, a cool event, it don’t get much better than this.
