So...I told the wife I was interested in a new toy to enjoy, do some cruisen and maybe a car show or two. so after a long search, about a little over a year. I bought this 1966 Corvette Convertible. plane Jane muscle car. 427-390 HP, 4 speed factory installed side pipes. leather interior. here's the best part. 62K original miles. has a few minor changes to it, (teak wheel, seat belts) but came with the car....we love it! post your drop top photos! First,, it was your choice of a playground,, (Alaska.) Then you rubbed salt in the wound with your airplanes. Now,, you show off this BEAUTIFUL classic Vette.

I was raised to follow the Good Book & not covet. But you are really testing my faith!!!

Nice Vette Scott!

That's a beaut of a BB C2. Enjoy your new ride. A similar car to yours is on my list down the road some. C2 was always my favorite generation Vette.
Mines a C6 targa so doesn't make the cut for pics.

^^^ PDK or 6 speed?
Either way that is a seriously quick Boxster.
Any track days in it's future?
PDK. My first (base) was a manual, my second (S) . a PDK and I was sold. I just joined the local PCA and will be heading to observe a track day on the 17th. Then we shall see. Yes it does scoot with 11.7 quarter mile times.

My first droptop was a 1960 MGA during my college days 60 years ago.
In 1990, my midlife "crisis" persuaded me to buy another MG - this 1974 "B", which I kept for 10 years before selling it to a collector.

After that, my yearning for another ragtop faded.
However, the bug hit my son about ten years ago, so he bought his dream car for weekend cruising…this '69 Rally Sport:
