Could compromise on legislation that for the most part was not needed. Now the more conservatives member s are expected to compromise with radical Marxist.
Two quotes cone to mind.
Your part of bipartisanship is to sign the bill that we have written. And,
You cant read the bill until you have signed it.
Thst was madame dafarge...ah, i mean speakerofthehouse pelosi, during the obamacare thing. And the bill, once signed and seen, was described as merely chapter headers, and no chapters written.
"Throw water on her, i saw how that worked in wizard of oz!"

Legislation is not the solution, delegislation is what I want to see. We already have a tangle of laws so deep that it would take 15 rail cars to transport them. It's almost to the point where I need a team of attorneys to advise me how I can legally scratch my backside or shoot a rat.
What I propose is this: A bill stating that all prior legislation having more words than the United States Constitution is hereby null and void.

CBS as the most neutral and most accurate would have made me spit out my coffee if I had been drinking any...
Not sure what I am missing. Though I am not really a network news guy, I have seen the CBS 11 o'clock news and it seems pretty straight forward, pretty much just reading the headlines. Are you talking about some sort of CBS hosted talk show that I don't know about? Like a cable "nooz" show? Again, I've only seen the 11 o'clock news,., so this is a real question.
