I find the thumb tab breaks off within days and the strip itself will eventually break into pieces. And I carried the things in Simply Rugged belt case. Happiness is a speed loader.

Just handled one at the LGS. I like. The grip is wonderful. Overall the gun feels good in the hand. Good balance. Almost bought on the spot but walked away. May go back and buy it.

While I tend to agree a 3" is a snub, handgun lore of decades past would disagree I believe.

If you purchased a Single Six in the 70's with a great trigger you were one lucky dude. Trigger pull on the SA's required two mules and a boy to pull thru at least the 90's. Pulls on the SA's today are better than they ever were back in the day based on the guns I have fondled at the LGS.

I've returned 3 guns to Ruger and they all took 3 - 4 weeks.

Am now trying the Feather blades from my sample pack. So far the Feather are edging out the Wilkinson Sword by a slim margin.

I would much rather have an American with a set of quality iron sites (not the usual garbage that Ruger puts on long guns) in 30-30.
