I find the thumb tab breaks off within days and the strip itself will eventually break into pieces. And I carried the things in Simply Rugged belt case. Happiness is a speed loader.
Just handled one at the LGS. I like. The grip is wonderful. Overall the gun feels good in the hand. Good balance.

If you purchased a Single Six in the 70's with a great trigger you were one lucky dude. Trigger pull on the SA's required two mules and a boy to pull thru at least the 90's. Pulls on the SA's today are better than they ever were back in the day based on the guns I have fondled at the LGS.
Running at maximum capacity does not in itself excuse poor quality.
Ruger sales this year are in a decline.
