    Ruger revolver for Bear hunting?

I feel more than well armed for bear hunting with either a 357 or 44 mag. You're black bear hunting, not fending off charging Alaskan brown bears. Our WV bears are about like your NC bears. I've killed a number of them with archery equipment as well. I've even seen several killed with 22 WMR...

    Charter Arms 44

I'll pretty much go along with that. We had two of the original Bulldogs as well as one of the 38 specials. They were decent guns, but the 44's both worked loose from hot handloads. Not the fault of the guns since we used them as "light magnums" which they were never intended to be. I...

Recommend me a good red dot

I've had a Vortex reflex sight on a 3 1/2" turkey gun and had zero problems with it. Sorry to hear you got a lemon. I have an Ultradot Match Dot on a 357 magnum and a regular Ultradot on a 44 magnum. They've both held up great.

    Ruger Single Six Ammo Mystery

Perhaps because shooting offhand isn't as reliable as a solid rest so that one ragged hole was a bit of luck? When I want to check the accuracy of a handgun and/or particular loads, I shoot them off a sandbagged rest to take some of the shooter error out of the equation. I'd also back off to...

Disney is making a Live-Action "Hercules" (based on their cartoon "Hercules")...and guess what?

Before you get too teared up in your laughter. Yes, Hercules was a fictious person from Roman mythology based off the Greek Heracles. Either way I wouldn't classify either one as the middle east. :p

Wasn’t Hercules Roman? I wouldn’t consider that the Middle East.

    Lightweight .22 rifle recommendations.

A CZ 457 American would be my first suggestion.

    Swords?

I’ve got a few swords, civil war through WWII. Here’s the hilt on the last one I picked up. A German SS degan.

    MK II Plum Slide

Yes, they sometimes do. I have an older S&W and the barrel has turned a slightly purple shade while the rest of the gun hasn't. I had one gunshow "expert" argue me that my barrel had been reblued because of the color. It hasn't, it's just turned that way over the years.

    LCR vs S&W 642/442

I've owned both and prefer the slightly smaller size of the S&W. The only time I had LCR trigger issues was when I did it intentionally, but just the fact I could do it always kept a little bit of fear in the back of my head that it at least "could" happen when I wasn't trying to do it.

Would you buy a Ruger top-break 22lr revolver

If it was Single Six quality wise, I’d be up for one. It was was in the Wrangler family, I’d pass.

I’m not quick to anger But this is infuriating!!!!

I'm just waiting on the keyboard warrior to explain how with proper training plastic gas cans work as well as anything else and how he's never had a problem with a plastic gas can and anyone that does just needs to learn how to use it! I think they suck as well. I've been tempted to drill vent...

    IMGUR

I had problems a couple days ago. It kept telling me that my images didn’t exist, but eventually it let me pull them up.

    Really annoyed with gun reviewers

I read gun reviews, but don't put a ton of faith in ANY gun reviewer, Hickok45 or others. When they're getting advertising dollars from gun companies, they aren't going to be 100% honest.
