Thanks to all of you folks for your reply's. I'm going to buy either a Lee or RCBS Taper Crimp die. Anyone have experience with either of these dies.

I'm loading 45ACP with 230gr CB, using a Lee Factory Crimp Die and a light crimp. I've read that this crimp die is not recommended as it swages bullet down. Should I be using the crimp feature of my RCBS seater die.

Looking for a good used SR45 magazine.

I'm going to get a Uncle Mike's shoulder either a size 15 or 5 for my SR45. Anyone here use one and what size? I know the #5 is open ended and takes a 4.5 to 5 inch barrel. The #15 is closed ended and takes 3.5 to 4.5 inch barrel, both large frame auto's.

Thinking about the replacement recoil and striker springs from Gallaway for my SR45. I'm looking for weight recommendations. I do not want to increase trigger pull wt. with too heavy a striker spring. I rarely get a light strike anyway. Was thinking 20lbs for the recoil spring. Currently...

Reassembling my new to me SR 45. The slide won't go fully to the rear so I can lock it back. Ejector is down, trigger fully forward and it stops even with back of frame . any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong? Daa it helps alot to put the recoil spring in correctly.

Thank you I just found them. I will get these in ivory. Just bought this Bearcat today ser# is 1069xx probably 1968 ? I might send it to Ruger for transfer bar as it looks like they use the SBH hammer.
