I honestly think some of the Rare Rugers are way under valued. When you look at the appreciation of Colts, Winchester and Smiths in my opinion Rugers haven't seen the comparable rise. I would give 5 figures for a nice two digit RSS in a heartbeat!

It really does come down to what it’s worth to you! What I paid for Serial number 29 Standard Auto, which would have been the first of the first! Many would say I’m crazy …. probably am lol. , but I was tickled to get it and it was approaching 5 figures.

I agree…. Ruger Letters are definitely a bargain! And though not owned by someone famous the Colts that I lettered are both very rare and pristine.

no, Colt charges per gun with no discounts for multiple letters! I can’t wait that long so usually do expedited (which speeds it up to 3 weeks) two Colts, week before last, expedited 400 bucks!

Well, I think most people who love Rugers, or all firearms for that matter enjoy seeing a display of a certain model, type or rarity that provides the opportunity to learn from. Knowledge and interest is much easier gained from actually seeing a particular gun you are curious about in person and...

No …not for sale….. and there is no rule that says the Mesquite show is for buying and selling! The sign out front says “show” …. that’s what I’m doing. Many people enjoy seeing, and like to learn about the old Rugers. Sorry you don’t understand😉

Thank you! Yes, 42 was discussed several months ago. The plexiglass stands are commercially made, good way to display guns in a gun room or table. Don’t like leaving them in cases or boxes. Here is one wall ….the opposite wall has Rugers on it. You can see how I display them in my little gun...

I ordered this one from a table cover specialty site they had fast turn around, reasonably priced and you can send them logos and they will place them anywhere, or any size and colors you want for table cloth and logos. It’s fitted and you have lots of choices.

There are horror stories with any on-line auction or business, well, everywhere for that matter. We can all attest to that I'm sure! I love GB and have had over 100 transactions buying and selling…. many high end pieces. Most smooth, some not so much. But where else can you find the variety...
