$1000.00 is more than that rifle would bring in my neck of the woods..sounds like you are getting a very good price for it. I saw a couple of new stainless Mini-30’s this weekend for less ($989.00) sitting lonely on the shelf at the LGS. They have become more readily available as have many...
A Ruger 10/22 Deluxe Sporter w/Bushnell scope purchased from Riley’s Gun Shop in Hooksett, NH in 1980….less than $100.00 w/500 rounds of LR ammo.
The bug started that Fall day and hasn’t let up!
According to ruger.com serial number look up, shipped in 1989, Ruger started manufacturing the Mini-30 in 1986, nothing rare about that serial number to my knowledge.
Value without the original box, etc. is probably in the $850.00-950.00 range, perhaps more in some states like Maryland.
Good luck
Check out CDNN,(cdnnsports.com) they will have good sales every couple of months it seems….

God Bless…
Love riding ‘the Tube’ when in London, the Churchill War Rooms museum is a great take….if you like Churchill/History of course, which I do.
What hotel did you stay in, always looking to stay in a different hotel when I am there!
Thanks
I believe the Super Wrangler started with the 209 prefix (Ruger did NOT serial number the guns in the sequence with the Wranglers, but set aside the 209 prefix for the SW line) so it is possible to have a four digit SW.
Not sure Ruger has manufactured the 7 1/2” guns for a while and doubtful you will see them in the future UNLESS they are a distributor exclusive, almost all of the Blackhawk production is now 5.5 or 6.5” barrels.
They havent to my knowledge manufactured any new vaqueros in 7.5” barrel...
