Dude I have seen turn lines appear the first time a revolver has been "turned" or first time post-factory anyway. There is no way to know by looking at the turn line... and several people have already told you this. But yet you keep coming back and suggesting that people are not reading your...
When I lived in Alaska, I just carried a .44 mag, but game has gotten tougher over the years. Five years from now you probably won't be able to kill a bear with anything less than .50 BMG. I am surprised that most people don't opt for a .500 Nitro at the "bear" minimum.
Having said that I'm...
Yes I am sure that Ruger is working double and even triple time to fill orders. Having said that... we can not know when/ if the ban will come down. Well we know it won't be until February at the earliest... but it could come down very quickly (as much as I am opposed to it).
A bird in the...
I used to have a stainless Rossi in .44 mag. I loved it. I only sold it because a buddy needed it for bear defense (in AK). I would get a Rossi again .44 mag, or .357 if that is what I liked. I would not exclude a Marlin or Henry though. Pick them up and hold them and see which one you like...
An AR-15 type rifle should take any AR-15 mag (although make sure it is an AR-15 mag before you order... as there were other AR's made... such as the AR-10, Colt 9mm, AR-57 and others). That said some mags don't "drop free" from all models. This isn't a huge deal. If you order aluminum AR...
I guess because I wanted a Ruger with a polymer stock and which would be something that I would be more likely to abuse.....
But since you are so concerned about it....
Maybe you should write Ruger a letter and tell them to shut down because they weren't the original company to make guns in...
Well I'm a mag guy. You know I buy guns that use mags I've already stashed. That's actually why I don't buy a Mini-14 or Mini-13, because I have a bunch of AR mags (couple hundred), and about 50 AK mags. So I just buy ARs (or guns that use AR mags) and AKs. But since I've got M1 Carbine...
It seems like a no brainer given that the Mini-14 was inspired by the M1 Carbine (which it is more similar to than the M14 in many ways). So why no .30 Carbine model? It would be best, of course, if such a design used M1 Carbine mags, as opposed to making us buy inferior and overpriced Ruger...
I like my Cobray M11/9 better because I only have to pull the trigger once to empty the mag. Having said that, I would love to have one of these in full-auto.
So has the rifle been corrected to fire Soviet type ammunition? I would like to see someone put 400-500 rounds of Wolf through to test it and make sure this has been done. If so I may buy one.
Well 9mm is a good round. And this appears to be a good gun. I don't see why people are upset about it. Between this and the LCR Ruger has a solid self defense line.
Looks like a great rifle to me. I may pick one up next year. This looks to be about the best Scout on the market right now. I don't have any use for bipods or that sort of thing so this is perfect for me.
While I prefer to shoot single action revolvers, and do use them for pack guns on hikes, there is something that I really like about the 4" Redhawk. Its a very nice gun. I think that if I were just going to buy one, that I would get the Redhawk. You can always add another BH down the road.
For me its all or nothing. I either carry my Kel-tec P32 or my SAM-7, Bulgarian AK-47 (milled receiver). There is something comforting about carrying a full powered rifle with a 75 round drum. It can be a challenge to carry a full sized AK-47, but anyone with some common sense and proper...
