Battery Tender. Have two on two vehicles and leave them on all winter (6 months or so). Never had a problem with either of them.

This is a great thread, now it's time for me to chime in as well... First Jeep was a 1995 YJ, wife lost her job so it was sold soon after purchase. Bought a one owner 2005 TJ for my daughter's first vehicle. It is a 6 speed manual and I added a hard top. Taught her to drive in my 5 speed...
