I have a 3-10x42 on my .338win mag. Its a Seekins bolt rilfe. I went with the 3-10x42 because at 3x it gives me a nice wide field of view for closer in work and it gives me the option of some 10x for a longer shot. The .338 is very capable of shooting distances. My buddy has a .338 as well...

Makes sense I know its not a precision rifle and wouldn't treat it as such. Just lookin for something that I can be confident in shooting a deer at 100yds without breaking out the inline mz. The price tag is $700 with scope. Seems like a reasonable way to get into the straight wall game...
