I would agree on the .30 cal rifle bullet if we where talking about military actions or included wars. On the civilian side of the US statistic's, it's the 22 LR. We where talking about defense, not hunting our target. I would rather go to war with a .30 cal battle rifle also. I hope that time...
I agree with using a TAURUS TX22. We have the PRO that takes Red dot or other recital sights (NV compatible). We have a light on it and a holster to match.18rds of .22 is better that 6 of 380 or 9... Jules is a math thing. It has little to no recoil so a shot aimed is a hit. No issue with...
You will also have to focus on bullet style, weight and brand of ammo. Any change will change the point of impact and the distance they are accurate.
It matters if you want to reach out to greater distances with a 16" barrels. We can hit a man size piece of steel 4 out of 5 times at 150 meters...
Big fan of the MagLula, UpLula. I saw dozens of Mag Loaders in the Army. We even had contests to see which was better. Shows you two things. The level of boredom and the amount of empty magazines we produced... UpLula's and the StripLula's always won. Loose or clip they are the bomb.
Nickel's make dimes, dimes make dollars. Trying to save up for a Atlas Bipod and if the Fates smile on me a Altus Carbon Fiber tripod instead.
I'll be ready when a used one turns up. I have a Ram hunt in my future.
Any little bit helps. What is your Zip Code so I can find out the cost?
3-4" groups at 100 yards with a hand gun is great shooting. I lost count at seven or eight. So this might be my 9 or tenth post. Didn't look into it.
Reach out when you have time to work out the details.
So do you guy's ever do a competition online? You all shoot your 357 Max's and at 25 or 50 and post pictures of your results? You have to use the same targets!
