Shot a Steel Challenge match today with my Ruger 10/22 and really enjoyed it. This is a very light gun weighing in at just over 3 pounds. The Tactical Solution barrel is 16 inches long but only has 11 inches of rifling.
Receiver is Ruger from a friend that gave it to me for Christmas...
Nice rig. You need to make time and get out more often. I spent the day shooting my 10/22 at 50 yards and had a blast.
Good luck and good shooting.

I still have a steel lined belt from about 15 years ago and it's holding up quite well. It's not uncomfortable at all and I wear it almost every day. It's really nice when I carry my 686 6 inch in the holster.
15 ounce leather belts will probably hold up just as well as a steel lined.
I get...
What a beautiful day to shoot, no wind, temps in the low 60s and hardly anyone at the range today for the first hour.
My friend and I set the target out to 50 yards. My first time shooting this distance so I figured anything could happen. I shot my Ruger 10/22 with the Clark 20 inch .920...
I hinted to my son that I wanted one of his 10/22s that I built for him years ago. He doesn't shoot them. Well, no deal so when I told an old friend he gave me one of his. I had given him the Hogue Overmolded stock and he said I did the Clark barrel as well.
I did a trigger job, reducing it...
I've never seen one but that's possible. My bet is that a previous owner painted it. For $ 300 I'd probably by it as a project gun if everything is sound. Especially since it comes with optics.
Showing promise. Groups shot at 25 yards so that I could make sure I was on paper. Next will be 50 yards.
Federal AutoMatch was the big surprise winner today just beating out Federal HV Match and CCI-SV. Blazer was a disappointment. It's normally the tightest shooting ammo in my box.
