    Bowie knive

I'd put the value at the lower end of the range due to condition. Most on E-bay are languishing due to lack of interest. I'd say whatever value someone is willing to pay for a good working quality Bowie knife!

    41 Magnum Blackhawk

I preferred to carry a 41 OM Blackhawk over the 44 Mag SBH while guiding on hogs during grad school. My preference in big bear country (or where there are moose around) is a hot-loaded 45 Colt OM Blackhawk. My wife has a 41 OM Blackhawk for bears.

    Stag grips Opinon please

Looking at the original picture, the medallions on the left side appears not be flush and the stag appears to be cracked. I would TEND to think not factory originals, but I am not an expert!

Have had several in the past that qualify but all I have now are a Glock 22lr and a Ruger Super Single Six (there may be an old Single Six 22 lr in the safe!

    Watch out for the pigs

Contender: In several places have become a problem, much like pythons in other areas. The troubles of removing wild hogs: I've met/know both Terry Mansfield and Reggie Barret. Both are long-time biologists in California and experts on the wild pig problems...

    Watch out for the pigs

In Cali, they are a game animal, and you have to have a license and tag(s) to hunt pigs. I also had Guide License #134 in Cali. The rancher made $100 for every hog killed by a client and split with the guide another $200 for a trophy fee for large boars. Early on, there was no real limit...

    Watch out for the pigs

I was once chased back to my truck by a sow with offspring while scouting on the ranch we hunted in Parkfield.. Didn't want to drop her because of the babies.

    Watch out for the pigs

I only hunted Tejon on a turkey hunt. The Game Manager at the time was son-in-law of a DFG Biologist I knew and had bred my first GSP. The Regional Director (friend to all of the above) of the Wild Turkey Federation got my wife a tag w/o going through the State drawing and special permission...

    Watch out for the pigs

Forget California unless you pay a guide. Very little opportunity unless you know where to go! Most productive ranches (Dye Creek, those in the Parkfield area, Monterey, Benito, and San Luis Obispo & King counties are leased to guides). Santa Barbara County is steep, hot, and, to quote fellow...

    Ill fitting grips.

I've had real good luck with Patrick Grashorn on all makes and models (Blackhawks, Vaqueros ("Old" and new), Colt Pythons and 1911s. https://www.grashornsgunworks.com/ Here's my wife's matching Vaqueros for CAS: Ramshorn on a custom Vaquero: Matching Colt SAAs with pre-ban ivory from...
