Does anyone have any hard/soft knowledge as to why Ruger never chambered the Security Six in .22 to compete with the S&W 17 and 18? Seems odd especially for a company that only built .22s at first.
To me, moon clips for the ACP is a bit of a drawback. They're a pain to deal with, I always booger up one at the range. That's why I love my birdshead.
This is NIB, mounted once and not even really tightened down. Cant find a mark on it. Target knobs, sun shade, fine duplex reticle.
Feel free to ask questions. Now $425 shipped to lower 48.
The usual "I'll take it" gets it.
I removed the grip/stock panels and captured the mainspring but I can't seem to wiggle that and the strut out. Keep trying, or is separating the two frames necessary? Thanks.
I like that they finally have decently designed wood stocks, but they fit poorly. In several different ways. Are they Altamont, like so many of their grips/stock?
Hondo, I’ll probably do just that. Altamonts have a great tough finish, and I hate to mess with it, but they don’t feel quite right the way they are. And if I screw it up I buy another set. Thanks
It appears that Eagle makes the slimmest, best fitting stocks for this gun, but is there anyone doing similar work for less money? The Altamonts on mine aren’t thick, necessarily, but they fit the way the cookies fit the creme on an Oreo.
