UPDATE: Well.............. reply from Ruger Service says they won't furnish a part unless I send the OM Blackhawk in for a Conversion. NOPE!! I'll never have it converted. So anyone want to sell or donate a proper Elevator screw to a worthy cause? Otherwise, I'm going to order one soon...

Howdy. Was re-visiting an OM Blackhawk 6 1/2" .357 at my mountain cabin this afternoon. Seems last time out it was shooting a bit low so wanted to sand bag it and re-check. Went to adjust the elevator screw in rear sight and................................... GONE!! It was there two weeks...

I sold a matching pair of SP 101’s with 4.2” barrels purchased in 2016 because rear sight blades were so loose neither would hold zero. Ruger double action rear revolver sights are not what they used to be on the OM Blackhawks

Perfect!! THANKS so much! I have a 2005? Birch stock Compact version that lives permanently in back of Jeep. Love the short barrel but hate the rear sight style. Just threw the 31183 at my dealer friend and asked him to stop looking for a compact. He orders from Davidsons regularly...
