My mini 30 is a pig popper!

My vote is for the 44 magnum. I do have both but I seldom shoot the 45/70. I load my marlin 44 with 44 specials and have killed a bunch of pigs with it! Just a fun rifle. As a side note. My favorite hunting rifle is a single shot 44 magnum.

Remington wing master 20ga lightweight youth. Poppa put it on layaway when I was born. Took him a year of not eating lunch most days to get it out. I’m nearly 51 now, so 50 years. I had a piece added to lengthen the stock after I got older. I still use it to squirrel hunt.

I am 50 years old now and still walk assisted by a cane when out of my home. A car accident 3 hrs ago causes this. Mine is hickory, made by a friend. It is an option for defense that I am glad to have, even though I carry. The question was asked earlier in this thread what to do with it...

I like good ol #9 and the smell of burned gunpowder from freshly fired 20 gauge shotgun shells as I’m standing in a dove field. Also the dirt in a fresh plowed field. I did find a new mustache wax that I thought was good. Come to find out the wife loves it! So I will be ordering more of that!😉

That is a fine piece of equipment! If I was already over extended on my gunfunds, with one on layaway with a friend, I would jump on this! I don’t think you can get a stainless frame for $600. If no one jumps on it here, I bet you can get asking price or more on gb. Good luck!

Agree. If looking for a new Blackhawk, I try to find an older one rather than a brand new one. Except for the new model flattops and nm vaquero. But then I look for a used one rather Than a brand new one as well. Grips can be changed, but more often than not I live with ugly illfitting grips...
