Yes on occasion, S&W Mod 36 38 Special in a pocket holster w/defense load. She also reloads her own target loads for practice with her Mod 19 .357 Mag. Don't find wife's like this to often, a real keeper!
When the Super GP100 9MM first came out I wanted one for competition matches. I asked our LGS to order one for me and he said I called in a favor to a Ruger distributor and when I picked it up and looked at the serial # it was 00070. It is very accurate and balanced perfect for me.
When the Super GP 100's first came out I knew I wanted one. Tried a local GS and was told to new can't get any. Stopped at a small gun shop and the owner said he knew a Ruger rep and would give her a call. A week later I had my new Super GP100 in 9mm. The serial # is 70. I have a range setup...
Bought a Rockchucker press in 1976 to reload for my .357mag. Sold it to get a Dillon 550 press when I shot with my son. He would come home from school and load 100 rounds for his .357 and switch dies and reload 100 rounds for my .45ACP so when I got home from work we would go shoot IDPA at the...
Kevin, I got the same Ruger when it first came out, actually the serial # is 70. I have 10 TK moon clips and have not had any trouble with cylinder binding. This is an amazingly accurate revolver. I believe the Ruger moon clips are thinner?
Like Kevin said I have a flat plastic compartmented container from Joann Fabric. Loaded moon clips fit into the compartments and the demooner tool as well by taking out 2 spacers between the compartments. This allows me to bring 96 rounds all loaded in the moon clips and it fits in my shooting...
Kevin have you shot your super gp100 9mm yet? I was luckily to get one when they first came out. The serial number is 70 on my gun. This is one of the smoothest shooting revolvers I have ever shot. I to have TKcustom moonclips and they definitely are a high quality product.
Last month I got Pachmyar grip and forearm for my 14" T/C Contender from optics planet. This changed an uncomfortable to hold slippery wood grip gun to a steady hold useful firearm. Put on a 14" 45LC/.410 barrel and now have a sweet squirrel getting shotgun. I've owned this gun forever and was...
John. I paid $1000 for my .243 Ruger #1 two years ago. It was in pristine condition w/o a scope. Mounts were on gun and was okay with the price as the gun was definitely a safe queen.

Kevin: I agree with your review on the Super GP100. I've had mine for a couple of months now and it's smooth double action trigger pull as well as quick target acquisition make for a sweet competition revolver. Now if it would just stop snowing and warm up more I would be able to use it more.
