There are 2 different grip modules for the Sub2K in that era. I had the shorter one, and wished that I had the longer version.....problem solved now: I no longer own a Sub2K.
I look at the OP's question this way.....
If the barrel, slide, or cylinder of a firearm cannot be soaked in a cleaning solution that is designed for firearm cleaning (or a base product of most cleaning solutions: diesel, for example) then that part would not have been properly designed to...
Quite simply, my "empty chamber" guns are in the safe. I treat them all like they are loaded. And the best place for the empty chamber is either cleaning pad, or my safe.
I had a couple of paragraphs typed up to reply here, and my Chromebook decided to "self off" itself......🤬
Long story short: I wish I had kept my very first P series from the early 90's. I really like the 3 I have now. I upgraded the sights (night sights) on 2, and am waiting to see what I...
THIS. Period. No other things is needed. You have all the time in the world to get your hammerpiston back in your holster after needing it.....take that time to make things correct so you don't decock yourself. Or de-artery yourself.

I saw these for sale, and like I posted somewhere else....I always find things that I want when I don't have the available funds for it. And right now is one of these times....very unfortunate for me.
Depends upon which P series feels best in your hand. I have had all the 9mm versions at one time or another, the 85 and 89 are pretty much identical in the frame department. The 95 feels a bit different than the aluminum frames, but to me it sets nicer in the hand ( just a bit) . Either...
How hard is it to actually find one of these for sale? I know that nay searches I put up on the interwebs bring up nothing but the PCC, and that is irritating for me. Normally computers are pretty good at separating words....but it doesn't help when sellers do NOT know what the correct terms...
