That is true. The one I cut down was too nice to cut , and I normally wouldn't have done it. It was for a friend of mine's 80th birthday and he always wanted one. So I found one and cut it down for him. It was too nice and cost too much , but it was worth it.

A friend of mine wanted a sawed off shotgun. I found a Stevens 311 and cut it down for him. It turned out good and he loves it.

The blue book of guns is great for information. As far as what guns are worth , not so much. I have never found their prices to be close to what things actually sell for.

I don't reload , but I do have a couple barrels of empty brass I have collected over the years. I'm saving it for my retirement . The way the world is going , it might be worth more than gold one of these days.

I would think a gun store would have a lot of liability when it comes to buying and selling used ammo. There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there that would try to deceive them if they could.
