    Who's got their Gov'mint checks?

Got ours on the 15th via DD. Annie said "We don't need this." Brief discussion between Annie and I. Results: three of our favorite non-profits got those proceeds for their general funds. Coop

Reassembly of a Pietta reproduction Remington 1858 New Model

Howdy Pards - its been a while since I was last on the Ruger forum. Family and friends (and me) are all well and good. My problem: I am trying to reassemble a completely torn down Pietta 1858 New Model C&B revolver, purchased new in 2017 Its been 6-7 years since I last shot and cleaned my old...

Ruger Old Army 5.5 IN Gloss Stainless

I had a pair of them, used for CAS shooting for many years. Took two Top Ten WR belt buckles with them thru 2007. Sold them to a pard in MO for 3X what I paid for them years earlier. OOOPS I did not remember my first post on 10/11/19. My bad. Coop

What would you do with $100 in 1963?

Buy 4 new 2ply tires for my '55 Chevy Bel Air coupe. To this day, I cannot believe how many lovely girls came out of nowhere during my middle engineering college school years, knowing I had a car. Yum!

Ruger Old Army 5.5 IN Gloss Stainless

I used to have two of them, numbered 08 and 09, and shot them for many years as blackpowder C&B revolvers. I won two Frontiersman Top Ten belt buckles at SASS Winter Range National Championship matches at Ben Avery in AZ (2005 and 2007). Sold them for 4 times what I paid for them to a collector...

    A heartbreaking decision for me

I was a cubmaster and scoutmaster for many many years here in western PA. I detest the BSA and their current logic. I will never have anything to do with them again. Well......Bye.

    Kimber EVO-SP

Vito, right off the top, thank you service. I never had the chance. As for my 2001 Kimber Ultra Carry, I shoot it about 6 times a year for 18 Years 25 to 50 rounds a session. Never had a FTF or FTE. Never used it for self defense action, I am sorry for your experience. Hope you have better...

    Kimber EVO-SP

IMO I think it is nothing more than a marketing ploy, catering to new shooters Can you say “women”? Right now they are a major growth market for guns. I own a full size Kimber 1911 from 1998 (yes it is a Clakamas marked Pistol). My personal self defense sidearm is a 2001 Kimber Ultra Carry. I...

    Surgery questions

I cannot speak about your RC surgery. I had cataract surgery summer of 2018, after several years of failing sight, especially Night vision. My results were incredible successful. I have my vision as good as my college days. I am 76 yrs old.

    Plastic Gun Question

These are nothing more than Austrian plastic doggy chew toys IMO. I have tried them all, including Ruger’s P95, and I do not like any of them including my despised Austrian doggy chew toy, sold quickly after my range experience. All I carry now are 1911’s. My favorite side arm. I have no...
