Which Production Plant Does The Wrangler/Super Made

Thanks to B-E on the pictures posting for me and Contender on his much better knowledge. Leave it to me to stumble upon something different with my first SA. NOW. The next phase. Would it be smart of me now knowing what has been found to get a letter from Ruger on this oddity of a gun which...

Which Production Plant Does The Wrangler/Super Made

Thank You BULL'S-EYE for helping me out with the pictures. If I do have something different, I'd really like for someone more experienced in this to show pictures of what a normal SW would have on it, compared to my SW in side x side pictures with what is different. I know only 2 pictures is...

Which Production Plant Does The Wrangler/Super Made

Trust me, with all the wording that should of gone on the underside of the barrel like is shown on other Wranglers/SWs, even with the cerakote, some letters would of showed up as indented pot marks all over the underside. THERE IS NOTHING. I did send a picture to BULL'S-EYE of the underside of...

Thanks BULLS'S-EYE. I got the pics sent to you as requested. Being very rural I hope I got enough signal that you got the pics.

    Just brought it home!

Very nice. Those should make for great companions and looks like they both shoot very well. I need to get some of those A17 ammo to try in my 17HMR Marlin VRX w/ATN night/day vision scope.

Which Production Plant Does The Wrangler/Super Made

Thanks, GasGuzzler, but the serial # we cleared up in message #41 above. However, you would be very wrong on my gun saying where it was made. I've taken off the grip panels, removed the cylinder and ejector assy. NOTHING stamped where made OR having the usual lawyer's warnings rollmarked...

    9mm carbine.

I have a 9mm carbine from a different manufacturer, but with a bullseye of around 2" diameter at 50yds and using a workable red dot sight I put the POI at the upper edge of the bullseye. This way it is still usable at 75yds easily and keeps decent knock down/penetration energy on smaller/medium...

    New "old" kid in town

Welcome from Missouri, where Fajen actually made gunstocks in Warsaw, Mo along with his partner Bishop. Fajen sold the business, machinery and wood molds sometime in the 2000's to another gunstock business, then that I believe was sold to Harry Potterfield of Midway USA. Not a dig on you...

Chet15, don't know if mistake and slipping thru Ruger's QC, but your last sentence is right on the mark. No warning roll mark or where manufactured on this gun. I got some pictures on my phone, with the ejector rod assy removed to show under it, but no way to send through.

Thank you gentlemen. You've changed my thoughts on serial numbers. No info roll-marks on the barrel is still odd. Only thing on barrel is under the ejector rod housing and roll-marked as #209-1120 in tiny, precise numbers, saying it is frame matched to the gun serial #. I have a 209 prefix...

Which Production Plant Does The Wrangler/Super Made

Contender, models 19 and 66 pertain to the S&W series of guns. I just threw them in as they many times use letters to designate prefixes, followed by numbers. Why else would Ruger place a dash between the prefix, which we know is NOT the serial number, but a series for company breakdown in what...
