I've looking for a 5" GP100, haven't seen on for sale in a while. My first GP100 was the 6" blue. My 2nd/ 3rd ones many years later were 4" SS and 6" SS- then, sold all. Good thing I was able to get the 4" and 6" SS again recently.

I have as following: -4 Ruger American factory 9mm 17 rds mags. Stainless steel, un-used condition. They are for full size pistol, might fit compact version (?). Still in factory package. Got these in trade, thinking I might get a pistol but that was over a year ago. pics later $20 each...

I remember looking into this, and many of the MKII and MK IV important parts are compatible.

Have owned a SRH 44 Magnum w/ 7" barrel for over ten years, finally got enough courage to shoot it recently. It wasn't bad but definitely it was telling me I wasn't shooting 45acp, 10mm or even 357 Mag any more.

Mine looks like yours, but it has MGW (scope) mounting on- that replaced rear sight. There's only one mounting screw there.

Have owned a few MKII (yes one with blue 10" barrel) , MKII 22/45 and MKIII 22/45- sold them all and missed them. Recently just bought a lightly used MKII SS with 4" Bull barrel - really enjoyed shooting it. As someone had said re-assemble is really not that bad.

Red dot should be fine, but my range is minimum 50 yds, to 100 yds. I would sometimes like to see where my shot went and was actually hoping for at least some magnification.

I have owned SR9 for over ten years, still like it. Also carried SR9/40 c when situation dictated. Actually, just got a 2nd SR9 last year, then bought a .40 upper (cheap) at ebay so I can shoot 40 ammo I that I have.
