    Magazine disconnects---yes or no

I wonder if there are any statistics of folks who lost their mag in a struggle or inadvertently touching the release and were saved because of the last shot.

    HC3R MAG

And it came with 2 loading tubes that make loading a breeze. One of the tubes becomes part of the mag after loading and the other can be filled for reloading making a total of 65 rds easily loadable.

    HC3R MAG

The one I got can be seen at hcmags.com. Don't know where it is made. I got mine on Gunbroker.

    HC3R MAG

Just received one of those new HC3R mags for the 10/22lr. It holds 25 rds with an additional 20 held for easy reloading. It works great and made very well. Also it can be easily disassembled for cleaning.

    SR22 pistol woes....Ruger to replace!

I'm certainly no expert in the field of bores and rifling; but I have read that the machine used to cut or form the rifling (depending on the method) does indeed get worn. When this happens it produces shallow rifling; but the real problem is the "quality" of the edges of the rifling, the edges...

    SR22 pistol woes....Ruger to replace!

Sorry to hear about your issue with the SR-22. I have one and am getting along with it great. Will be interested in hearing what Ruger does about it. Did you clean it before you first shot it? And if so, how did the rifling appear then before you ever shot the gun?

    Thumbs up to Volquartsen

I had purchased a Volquartsen TG2000 trigger group online at Gunbroker. The previous owner said it was set up from Voquartsen for 22lr; however I installed it in a Ruger 22mag. I got light strikes on about 1 out of every 9 rounds. Emailed Volquartsen, Scott emailed back asking for pics of the...

    Ruger Mark 111 mag disconnect

I've been shooting MK 2's for yrs and wouldn't change a thing.

    trigger pull on lcr 22mag

I don't have a lcr, but I bet they can be changed; however, be careful because the rim fires need a harder hit to ignite than does center fire so you cannot lighten it very much before its too much. You can order replacement springs from someone, then lay the factory spring aside, cut one...

Wish Ruger made a SP 50

Hummm, some say I'm good, some avg; but the ones that really know me mention something about "hot air"...... But I don't think I could ever shrink a SP down to the size of a Taurus 941.

    SR 22 question

Good point, and since I value the SR-22 as a training tool for the larger caliber pistols, this is certainly something to consider. One can go through the paces with the SR not using expensive ammo until one gets all the techniques down.

Wish Ruger made a SP 50

Don't know what they might name it; but I wish Ruger would make a small frame revolver for rim fire. I like Ruger's system, or style of a solid frame with no little screws holding on a plate covering the action. I only wish they made a small frame with their same design for rim fire. Since rim...

    SR 22 question

For anyone interested in removing the mag disco from their SR-22 check this out: http://randomguns.blogspot.com/2012/11/removing-magazine-disconnect-in-rugertm.html

Important information on the Ruger SP101 327 Federal.

I know what you mean about the trigger pull. Rim fire needs more strike to fire than does center fire therefore the hammer springs are stronger. And since the LCR is DA only, one is forced to load the hammer with the trigger. Not many DA rim fires out there with a decent trigger and since Ruger...

    Two new LCR .22 Magnums

I wish Ruger made the LCR with a shrouded hammer option like the Smith 638 rather than just the fully enclosed hammer. I can be very accurate with my 638 with the nice SA trigger. Since rimfire require a heavier hammer strike than do center fire, one would only be fighting the trigger spring if...
