    Light 357 load

For what it sounds like you are trying to do I start with Trail Boss and develop a load with that! Thats what it's designed for.

    6.5 Creedmore

I;ve shot one large boar at 300+ yd with the hornaday 140 gr Match, one sot kill.

    9mm bullet weight

I Like Buffalo Bore 124 gr, Syntech 150 gr and Critical duty 135 gr. But have looked at Liberty 65gr or Novax 50 gr? Know of any reasonable tests?

    combining the same powder

For 300BLK I never compete with I just mix. For 10mm, 9mm, 6.5 for competition I load down to the last full load and burn the excess. It is probably superstition but I worry about differences. If I'm developing a load I don't consider it!

    Ruger PCC 9mm ammo

I've run through 1/2 a 500 round box I got a couple of for around $100 ea. It's Syntech 115 grain. It runs fine and is pretty accurate in both the PCC&SIG. I've reloaded a little it's fine but not as good as the Hornaday or Lapua ( they cost more than I paid for the loaded rounds)!

    combining the same powder

Nothing to worry about from a saftey point, but if I was loading for critical competition no! Tiny diiferences can become evident.

    Theoretical 22LR question

So what!? Same old BS. A head shot is not necessarily the best-shot on the critter. On a human a shot to the throat (lyrnax) is generally better than a head shot! Outside of some weapons that are just plain silly there is no STOPING POWER. As for the double-lung shot, if I blow a critters...

    Ruger PCC

The 9mm versions are available around here! So are the 40 versions-they aren't selling. As for a magwell for various other magazines, can you hold your breath a really long time? The 45 ACP would make a really good HD gun and possibly competition but not hunting. The 10mm would be a lot...

PC Carbine in .357 SIG, Any takers ?

I should hope not! The 40 shield is badly conceived. Can the 10mm be made in a compact carry version that's worthwhile? I much doubt it! The 357 SIG would have been a roaring success had it come out before the 44/41 mags. But it is too little too late! Can a viable bottle necked 44mag+ be...

    New Ruger AR

    TRUE! Still but ugly paint!

    Ruger PCC

Well mine is a fun plinker, but velocity increase over my 3" barrel SIG is a bit less than 200fps, not the ~600+ that one would expect. I haven't tried the new Federal ammo for PC C yet.

    Federal 38 wadcutter ammunition

One thing about wadcutters is that they punch a nice clean hole in the target, where other bullets punch bigger holes and irregular holes. This makes them better where groups are measured and gives the impression that they are more accurate ( which at limited ranges they are).

    New Ruger AR

Lots of type II vests have plate carrier pockets. They will hold additional arimid, ceramic, steel or titanium plates equivalent to type IV. Even with holding plates it's lighter and more comfortable than type III. Not as good protection as no gorget or back. The FMJ used by most everyone is...

    New Ruger AR

Not happy with being fed a load of BS! The most popular 5.56, 223 bullet today is by far the FMJ. According to several NGMOs who had experience it takes 3 shots to take down an unarmored Somali, not real effectial. Unless you have 844 bullets good luck with type III. According to surveys of...

PC Carbine in .357 SIG, Any takers ?

Well l've been wrong before. But like the 40 folks are not pushing it, at least around here. In a lot of ways too bad! But In a crowded market it is not positioned well! It doesn't do enough that established cartridges dont! If it survives it will be as a niche but unlike the 41 mag it's not...
