    Security 9 and hollow points

All good advice, and I'll just add that some semi's - 1911's for example - can't be considered broken in till you've put 4 or 5 hundred rounds thru it. Given the price of ammo these days that usually comes as a complete surprise to newbies and they often don't have the $$ to do that right away...

"Jam" means different things to different people. Could you post a close up pic of a "jam" for us? It would help in figuring out the issue.

New shoulder rig for my 1911

Nice rigs! I'm curious how you have that blade attached in the second pic.

New shoulder rig for my 1911

I probably won't wear it much until winter. T-shirt time of year here now. But I'll let y'all know. I have tried it on and made some preliminary adjustments today. For what it cost me I better like it - A LOT! ;)

New shoulder rig for my 1911

Been waiting on this since late Feb. and it finally arrived this morning. First shoulder rig I've ever bought. As with other holsters I have from Diamond D, this one will take some breaking in. I don't mind that, I'd rather it be tight when new than loose and sloppy. :)

Why You Should Carry a Knife Instead of a Gun for Self-Defense

If you're 6' tall, slightly over 3 body lengths.

    WTB Table cloth like this

Front and back of the magazine judging from the curvature. Also notice the spine and some of the lettering crosses on top of a couple of the guns, etc. And the finger at the bottom of the spine. Definitely not a table cloth, just the artwork the printer came up with.

Done that. With an M-14 a long time ago.

    SR9 Suppressed.....

Btw, I was born in Aberdeen in '44. Still have a couple relatives up there.

    SR9 Suppressed.....

Cans are fine for the range, hunting, ambushes, and assassinations. But for in-home use I prefer loud guns. The louder the better. So loud in fact that the mere concussion will rip the hoodie off the rat and collapse his lungs at 40 ft. And the flash will sear his eyeballs and cauterize the...

    Watch out for the pigs

You wouldn't make any friends in MS by letting them go, and might even have a visit from a State game warden to explain to you what the goal is.

    Watch out for the pigs

One of my neighbors owns several thousand acres in OK, which he leases out to a cattle rancher. That property has a growing pig population which he goes out to help control 2 or 3 times a year. His weapon of choice is a .308 AR10 equipped with thermal.

    Watch out for the pigs

Lot's of Chris Bennetts. Got a link? Not surprised by that. USDA tracks the National population, and it keeps spreading every year. Here's what it looked like in 2023, and previous years. https://www.aphis.usda.gov/operational-wildlife-activities/feral-swine/distribution
