Think about this.
You're in a store or restaurant, some nut case starts shooting everyone, you pull your weapon and start to load it (pull the slide back - you get shot)
or pull your loaded weapon (with one in the pipe) fire and put the nut case down!
I used to own Mini 14's I even had one in Full auto. Then I go thinking what happens when I burn the barrel out?
So I sold it and went to the AR platform. What caliber do you want your AR to be? They make them in lots of flavors.

I tried firing a heavy 158gr. 9mm round in my UZI with the suppressor on. It fired and it got stuck in the barrel.
(Not enough powder). I took the suppressor off and I took the barrel off of the gun and used a brass rod
to tap the round out from the breech side.
It worked perfect, did not hurt...
Just for the heck of it - I took one fired aluminum 9mm case and reloaded it. It worked fine but when I found the fired case it had split, so once fired weakens the aluminum case!
