I cannot explain it, but I agree. When i saw the SR1911 for the first time, it was just lust. I had never paid attention to the 1911 platform prior to that. Love the look and feel. Mine shoots excellent too.

I have shot sub-sonics out of a Walther P22 with and without can with no troubles. Have an occasional cycle issue in a Buckmark. No troubles in a SR22.

The Ruger does not have the Firing Pin safety like a Series 80 Colt. That was important to me. Less mechanical things that have to move to work.
