When you are in Cody, stop outside the Irma Hotel & Restaurant and have a seat below the window where John Linebaugh had breakfast most Sunday mornings. We Loved That Guy. R.I.P. John Linebaugh.

Ruger 57 for black bear defense?

Or an M1 Garand .458 Winchester Magnum…🤔 McCann Industries, if I recall correctly.

    Ruger revolver for Bear hunting?

Paul, I agree that the load in routine use would make me more comfortable out of my Linebaugh 5-shot conversion in .45 Colt. John

    Ruger revolver for Bear hunting?

Paul B, https://www.calendar-12.com/holidays/labor_day/1959 Sept 5/6/7 SAT/SUN/MON 1959 to help your memory. I was at Dustin Linebaugh's this weekend. He handed me a couple of rounds of John's favorite .45 Colt load for hunting. RCBS .45-270 SAA/Winchester brass/24.0 H-110/edit: Federal 155...

    Wolf attack

"A report on the only authenticated wolf fatality in North America." I disagree. You must have never seen this. http://www.vargfakta.se/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/wolf-attacks-on-humans_tr-mader-1995.pdf The pro-wolf people try to erase this. I knew Troy Mader, State Representative, Campbell...

Was looking at the Thread Giving up some Rugers.

Here is what I sent Walabot this morning: Hi, I frequent several firearm forums for old guys. A fellow online was lamenting that his father-in-law has told him that he has concealed multiple firearms in his basement walls over the years. He is concerned about how to ensure the family finds...

Was looking at the Thread Giving up some Rugers.

This finds wood studs, metal studs, pipes and wires through Sheetrock and paneling. Call them and ask them to test with a gun in a wall and see if it shows up….you may give them another outlet for their product… https://walabot.com/products/walabot-diy-2-m Update: I just emailed their support...

I remember seeing those for sale @ $75.00 new in 1972 in a local store…you scored a great (for our times today) deal.

Baltimore bridge collapses after ship strike

Video shows smoke starts billowing from exhaust stacks (going full throttle?) as ship turns to line up the bridge support. I'm no ship expert, but I have seen diesel exhaust from semi-tractors "rolling coal". Who was behind the controls at the time? is my question.

We're at the Irma Hotel Bar now, raising toasts and telling stories. John's photo seen above is above his favorite seat.
