Got lucky today... headed over to the pawn shop that I do business with, because of their layaway policy... Ruger New Model Vaquero Talo Edition .357 Magnum - very smooth buttery action, wide hammer spur.

I like pawn shop finds... I'll be picking up my layaway here this next month, a Ruger NM Vaquero .45 Colt.

I'm glad that worked out for you, my first thought was a squib or a backed out primer into the firing pin hole... but like others have said, glad that you are safe.

Even though I would love a FA in 475/480 it's a bit more than a Ruger Blackhawk Bisley FA Link but it's every penny worth it from what I understand.

When I can't resist temptation, theirs always layaway with 10% down and 10 months to pay 🤠
