Large REDUCTIONS - better pics, Ruger MKI Standard , 1022 50th, Sport King, and others

My goal was to ship as many at the same time as possible, and I said I was open to offers and I am! After mid-week, I'll just drop these off for sale on Gunbroker. Ruger Standard MKI 22lr 5" barrel - Excellent+ condition. If it wasn't fired, I'd say mint. 1982 I believe, based on 17-79xxx...

125 grain 357 magnum load damage to revolver

Assume for a second that this could be a problem in an SP101, does it makes sense that it would NOT be a problem in the early SP101s (125 grain max), which had the 38 cylinder? I would think the cylinder to frame fit would not allow space for the issue to occur. Correct?

    sp101 22 magnum

We should do our best to keep this thread alive. I have various brands of firearms in my safe, S&W, H&R, Colt, Ruger, etc. I have become obsessed with the 22 mag lately and can't believe the slim pickings for revolvers currently in production in this caliber, with more than 6 rounds. Mainly 3"...

There's always the chance I get hit by a bus on the way to the Post Office! Actually, not kidding. There is a chance. Last September I was driving along on a beautiful day, when an enormous tree fell on my truck. Totaled the Explorer, but I managed to walk away from it. So, it might take...

SP101 "125 Grain Bullet" Manual, which one is it?

These models were Ruger testing the waters. The SP101 was 38 Special. However, the gun could handle 357, but the frame and cylinder were built for 38s. So, the cylinder was a bit short for 357 cartridges over 125 grain. Ruger simply marked the 38 SP101 as 125 models to test the market...

SP101 "125 Grain Bullet" Manual, which one is it?

Ah! I lied. The 125 Grain verbiage is in both manuals. The older manual, as you said, it's on page 4. On the newer manual it's on page 5. I did not catch the date codes. I was looking for dates, but didn't realize those were codes. So I have: KW/6-94 KW/9-90 Obviously it would be the...

~ Stolen this week in East Tennessee ~

Ugh...I struggle with locking up any power tools, etc. A few years ago I bought insurance for my sporting items. It's a separate policy from my homeowner's, so there's no BS about value, premiums going up, etc. Very fair rate and I have peace of mind. My annual premium is 33 cents per $100...
