    Traffic accident

You seem to be reaching to try to read something into my comments and I'm not sure why. So I'll put it another way so you can understand. I don't tell them unless I'm asked and when I say that I'm referring to when I'm in my home state. I didn't attempt to cover what I would do in the other...

    Traffic accident

Yeah, and if you tell him you've got a gun and he decides to take it temporarily "for his own safety" and then has a ND with it, believe me he'll cuff and stuff you rather than tell his superiors the truth.

    Traffic accident

Don't have to double check my state or locale. I did all that before moving here almost 20 years ago. We have no duty to notify unless asked.

    Summer time at the Range

We shoot in the heat all summer here. Not everyone, just the hard core shooters. It was around 102 last week when I shot. An ex snowbird asked a few weeks ago if we shot in the summer and we all said yes. He said we were nuts and left.

    Traffic accident

I never notify anybody that I'm carrying, especially cops. If they ask, then I'm legally required to tell them and I will, but no other way. Don't invite the man into your life.

Got a new Reloading machine...or two

You can go on the Lee Website and order all the spare parts you want for free with free shipping. I did that, many years ago, and the spare parts are still sitting in the parts bin.

Got a new Reloading machine...or two

And for those who are unaware, Lee Precision has the exact same warranty that actually works a little better than Dillon's. I've got Lee and Dillon reloaders, so I'm speaking from experience.

    For those who like bacon.

An 80 year old man goes to the Doctor for a complete physical. Afterwards, the doc and the old guy sit down for a talk. Old guy: Will I live to be 100? Doc: Do you drink alcoholic beverages? Old guy: No Doc: Do you eat a lot of red meat and bacon? Old guy: No Doc: Do you chase women...

    For those who like bacon.

Tell the Doctors to go pound sand and live your life the way you want, not the way they want you to live it.

    DUIIs vs mass shootings

Not just some of the biggest offenders, no one else is even close to the amount of distracted driving police do. A neighbor is Highway Patrol and I've been in his SUV. It's like sitting in the pilot's seat of an airliner. Multiple radios, multiple cell phones, plate reader, computer, the list...

    Happy birthday

I've always wondered why most people can have a few beers or whatever on a regular basis and never become alcoholics while others do and get to what Watertender said about 1 can of beer is too many and 30 ain't enough." Must be some kind of chemical imbalance in the brain or something similar.

What to do with unneeded ammo and reloading supplies?

I just took almost a thousand reloads from a widow who has shot with me every week for around 10 years. Her husband made them and since he passed away and she doesn't shoot .45ACP/9MM, she asked what to do with them, so I took them. I shot with him for around 9 years and because of his...

    Light primer strike question

contender is right about Federal being the softest. As to the hardest, my vote is for CCI. I've known a number of people who had problems with light strikes with them and ended up switching to Winchester to eliminate the problem.

No Heirs. How many of you are in this boat?

I have only 2 nephews who have devoted their lives to conning relatives and friends out of money or items they could sell or pawn, so as far as I'm concerned, I have no heirs. I've left everything to Gun Organizations with lawyers on staff to stop my nephews when the time comes. It's all in my...

I need them all, so I'll keep them all.
