Anyone know where I can get a Ruger American 308 receiver or compatible receiver? I know the rifles are not that expensive, so I may do that. However all I need is the receiver. Had a couple of drinks and bid on a parts kit on GB. Comes with everything but the receiver. :)

Gotcha. I see the chassis now. I don’t see the magazines listed. Can you link me to where I can buy the correct magazines? I can’t find them on their website. Should I be looking for specific 7.62x39 magazines?

No. Thanks for pointing that out. I’m also buying another gun and getting everything confused. You are correct. If I want to use the tri lug I’ll have to get another mount or cut it down and pin weld.
