Just finished installing my Kidd trigger kit in my 10/22 with the following observations. It is indeed a very well made product, light years ahead of the original factory parts. Installation is quite simple if you watch the Kidd video, one thing I did notice is that the Kidd trigger doesn’t...
After measuring the trigger pull on my new 10/22 it came in at 3.5lbs. which is a bit too much for me so I decided to take the plunge and buy the Kidd trigger kit for my 10/22 as I would like a trigger pull around 2.0 lbs. Luckily I got the last kit in stock as I am told they are now on...
Just bought a Kidd trigger kit for my 10/22 along with the Spring Kit. Anyone here have any experience with this trigger kit and if so, I bought the Spring kit assuming that you’re able to adjust the trigger pull based on which spring you use. Thanks for all replies.
For what it’s worth I found the following scope at eurooptic.com and it seems like a really good buy for the money. The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 V-Brite Illuminated Riflescope 31027 and the reticle seems more eye friendly than the current scope I bought which is the Vortex 2x7 CrossFire II...
Yesterday I took my 10/22 to the range to sight in the new scope I mounted on it, the scope is a Vortex 2x7 Crossfire II. After getting it sighted in and drilling a few holes in the air I have a few comments to make about this particular scope.
Firstly, I paid $129 for the scope and it is of...
It’s compliant as long as the gun has a 10 round magazine. Tell the vendor you don’t want the 15 round magazine and buy the 10 round in its place and you’re good to go.
Never having an aftermarket trigger in any of my 10/22’s how is a quality aftermarket trigger different than the stock trigger. I’ve had occasion to change out stock AR15 triggers with 2 stage Gieselle triggers and in those cases just the overall quality made the trigger operation far better...
Anyone out there know about the above titled 10/22 rotary magazine loader. Saw this item on
Optics Planet for sale but there are conflicting reviews about how well it works. If not do you know of any rapid loaders for the rotary magazines for the 10/22 in .22LR. Thanks for any replies.
I have always used the trigger that came standard on my 10/22 rifles. I bought a few Tandemkross products that I like on my 10/22’s and I feel they’re worth the cost of the upgrades instead of the standard bolt, bolt release and charging handle and the upgraded pins that hold in the trigger...
For whatever it’s worth, the best way to help remove Loctite is using ladies nail polish remover and it doesn’t remove any of the paint or discolor the stainless steel and I suppose you can use a hairdryer with it but it is flammable stuff.
I don’t doubt your experience with out using Loctite but if you’re hunting any animal and you’re using a cannon like a .454 Casull or a .480 Ruger you yourself said you check to make sure your mounts are tight. From my experience there would be no way I would mount any scope without the blue...
You are of course right, its baffling why the factory would even include the red Loctite with the rail knowing full well there really isn’t any valid reason that red Loctite should be used in any firearm application. Once you get into the territory of needing foot pounds of torque on a firearm...
