    Ruger single action in 188x?

It's kind of a self-serving fantasy. Movie magic creates a Hi-Cap ,never needs reloading handgun. Then Hollywood libertards take a stand against Hi-Cap handguns being the bringer of death and media joins in. Then the easily swayed politicians see the chance to look like a savior and start...

    Thoughts on Henry 327

Yup , my 327 Henrys ( I have a rifle and a carbine) have no problem feeding 32mag ammo, I just don't do it. But , surprisingly both had the crappiest trigger pulls I have ever felt on a Henry or any lever gun for that matter. No explanation for that but mostly worked out now. Both shoot very...

WTB 20 ga coach gun options

20GA doubles stacked either way will usually be an expensive thing to saw on. Single barrels on the other hand can usually be found under a hundred and nobody cry's when you lop them off. They have basic truck gun charm plus you can indulge in barrel swapability. Local and...

    Chinese knives

Standard practice and very, very common practice in the world of knife collecting. Most guys that have over 10 knives really only use maybe 3 or four. Same for guys that own 300 knives. For the most part while it may still be valuable, a used (or even sharpened) knife is not a collectable knife.

    22 caliber "kitguns"

You're not alone in not being stirred by that gun and there are many jobs I would not choose it for . Not a target, hunting or high volume range gun. But, there are jobs it excels at. Thanks to the dovetailed front sight it easily shoots to perfect point of aim and is remarkably accurate if you...

    22 caliber "kitguns"

Funny how this style of cylinder fluting was considered "weird" until Ruger did it 60 years later with the LCR. Now it's OK.

    22 caliber "kitguns"

The little Lipsey's Shopkeeper is about right for the job. This one is 3 1/2" but they did make a 3" and an adj. sighted one,,,,,,,, but I can't find either. :(

    22 caliber "kitguns"

Well, with a little trimming you could still fit a 44 in your kit.

    Bisley Single Six Convertible Conversion

You can use an easy to find Bisley trigger with the original hammer till you find a Bisley hammer. At least it would get you some more trigger finger room in there. :)

    Swapping grip frames?

Welcome to the small but growing Brass on Stainless club. Unfathomable a in the pre-RW years and still taboo to some , but it looks so right in your hand.
