they shipped it in wrong box, or the store put wrong rifle in it, what did you pay for? I say they gave you wrong box, because the rifle does not appear to be in stainless steel.
I have done the reaming with all of my 32 h&r magnum revolver to 327 federal and love the extra power!! I did not care about resale value, my great great grandkids can argue about that!!
In my quest for all things 32 H&R magnum, I bought some USFA's in 32 WCF and had Mr Bowen 2ream 2 LR cylinders for them. Since the 327 just appeared on the radar they actually are in 327 magnum. USFA even made some of them for me as well
It also depends on whether they use stack or rotary magazine. another thing to consider is how much carrying are you going to do. I have the ruger american that uses the box magazine, but no scope. I compared the two before I made my purchase. The magpul set up is neat but has to weigh more.
Welcome to the forum, I have to warn you Ruger's are addictive. I don't have an answer, do you plan on getting it from Gunbroker or one of the big retail guys online? The reason I ask is that you should be able to contact the seller and see what the manufacture date is. That is if it is...
I spend a lot of time and some money on Gone Broker, this Ruger SP101 said buy me. Good thing my common sense told me to get out early!!
