You made out on that trade and should get some good money for it if you don’t want it for hunting or long range target shooting. I just refurbished my buddy’s 7mm tang safety M77 from the 80’s and that thing is a tack driver. We’re going to try it out on a pig hunt this weekend. Should do well.
Been shooting it for decades with zero issue (Blazer). More than I can say for Winchester white box. Most ranges don’t like aluminum cased ammo because they can’t recycle or reload it.
My .327 lcr is snappy. And loud! But to me, it’s not at all uncomfortable to shoot. Quite fun actually. If the recoil concern is keeping the sights on target with successive shots, I can’t do it with the .327.
My first handgun, bought used in 1996 for $200 was this NMBH .41mag. Serial #27 made in 1973. I carried it on my side on countless bear and hog hunts. Always ran flawlessly. I regrettably sold it a couple years ago. Here’s a pic…
