i have a update, I received a spur hammer from a member and after install it works perfect on single and double action.

thank you, im hoping no surprises after get hammer.

I have a new ruger sp101 357 and it has a spurless hammer, I plan to convert it to spurred hammer, do i just need a hammer or is there other parts i need for the conversion?

im finaly home from holidays, gun in my hand if someone want trade hammer?

I wont have the gun in my possession for a while but my hammer is new if you want trade I would do.

Well i found a CA legal sp101 so i bought it but it has the spurless hammer. so now i'm hoping to replace it so i have single action also. But if someone in ca has a sp101 in 357 for sale i would be interested.

i would guess we in a big war before then so no body can predict where we will be, I pray we not have to learn to speak chinese.

you must not be familiar with CA rules. I already bought one from gun broker and it had to be returned due to it not a CA certified gun, yes i know it is b!!t.

I have been looking for a spurred single action hammer to replace my bobbed hammer with no luck. does anyone know where to get one? i tried ruger, and all gun shops i could find. help is appreciated. I would also trade my spurles for a spurred one.
