    Single-Six VS MKIII Accuracy?

One reason is actual bore size. Ruger elected to have the Single-Six sized to the .22 Magnum. This means that the .22 LR has to slug up to totally fill the rifling. Have had a number to dual cylinder Single-Six revolvers and the Magnums shoot excellent from them. Hard to beat a MK for...

Scoping options for 10-22 takedown with Backpacker stock. Also interested in case ideas.

Put one of the William's bases on with the built in peep sight and a Leupold 1.5-5 VX3 in QD mounts. Haven't decided on a case yet .. Bob

9mm SP101 , first impressions at the range

One not only has to test the ammo in the revolver it is to be used in but also need to chronograph it to see the real world velocity not just what the ammo company says...and coming out of a snubby it will be the lowest velocity of any 9mm handgun.. Not all +P ammo is loaded to the same...

9mm SP101 , first impressions at the range

    ..got a call...

...on the 4th of July from a local gun shop saying my gun was in...what gun? Didn't remember ordering anything. Turned out one of the sales guys I was talking to about wanting a GP-100 3" 10mm WC special ordered one back in January and put my name first in line... They haven't been made in...

Looking for recommendations on a Ruger revolver..

...another vote for the 4" stainless GP100...all one needs and nothing you don't. 6" nice for target shooting or hunting but unnecessary for carry/home defense. Change out the front sight to a green FO or tritium night sight and you are done. The DA on the SP101 is about as bad as it gets... Bob

Ruger no.3 rebarrel as revolver companion options.

Looks like we are all in the same boat... Bought a #3 .22 Hornet with the thoughts of having it rebored to .327 Federal or .41 Magnum....it shot so well as a Hornet never did get it done. That and I already have a TC Contender Carbine with a 16.5" .41 barrel on it... As to caliber...

Started the favorite full size semi automatic over 2 years ago. Let’s talk about what you actually carry.

Have carried just about daily since 1970. Started carrying a 1911 Commander in .38 Super in 1980 and if away from the house one is with me 95% of the time. It is carried IWB, REMORA clipless holster, 830 butt forward...very comfortable and little print... I also on occasion carry a S&W 4" 57...
