I have found guns where the plunger/spring is put in correctly but teh spring was pinched and bent when the grip frame is installed due to lack of attention by the installer.

Plunger goes in the frame to push against the pawl.

Man Jussbad, all I can say is "OUCH"! And I'm not talking about the good price either! I can not imagine touching off a full house 41 mag or 44 mag load with those beauties. Road rash of the hands :)

Not yet Greg. I had a class with Alan last week, meet with Rob Rowan in a couple weeks then out to Cody for a lesson on horn grips with Dustin on my actual gun he is building then we will see. Just getting the education, tools and jigs at this stage of the game.
