    Fix for pitted Bearcat frame

Thanks Randyzzz, I should be able to make that work especially with the help of my Grandson who has been restoring old military items for a few years. This one is for sale and other than these marks its a very nice revolver. So looks like it will be coming home soon as I'm now comfortable...

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a late '60 or early '61 Bearcat in nice condition. The serial number range I would like to have is X, Y, or Z of the last "alpha cats", or early 4 digit up to around 9600. I believe those numbers cover the final few months of 1960 and first half of 1961. I am...

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there is a fairly simple way to cover or repair the minor pitting on the butt of this Bearcat. Has anyone done it or have any ideas? Thanks

    Swords?

I have a couple Civil War sabers and one has a Warner Brothers prop number inscribed onto the hand guard. I tell myself it was used by Errol Flynn as Custer in They Died With Their Boots On. Well, it COULD be.

Searching for info on Yellowstone National Park

We've been there a few times and have still not seen all of it. My bucket list includes hopes to just go and plan to spend at least a week and see as much as possible.

What places bring up your best memories?

The few years we lived in Billings when I was growing up. Being able to bike to the Yellowstone River after school for a little fishing or target shooting. And the best friends I've ever had.

What do you think about your state - bad and good?

On the other hand, its really nice to be able to get to the ocean beaches or high the mountains within and hour's drive. Great natural beauty and hunting, fishing, hiking etc. Sadly though, over 4,000 miles of Forest Service roads have been blocked and/or demolished in the last few years...

What do you think about your state - bad and good?

Quote from Chicago song "Lowdown" ....."The country I was brought up in fell apart and died." It breaks my heart to see my state in a full-speed-ahead race with CA and WA for weirdness and "progressive" social engineering.

    Did You Like Corvairs?

They were nice comfortable "little" cars that were affordable and fun to drive. Too bad they fell victim to RN's egotistical smear campaign.

    Illegal activities

One problem is that laws are so numerous and confusing in many states that its difficult to comply even when trying to do so.
